Let a Horror Movie Hijack Monday
A film screening becomes something stranger when the soundtrack happens live. CINEMA ULTRA brings Cronenberg’s body-horror classic Videodrome to Skylark with Curls Ultra improvising the score and Hydrosonic Light Show handling projections.
Where: Skylark, 2149 S. Halsted St., Chicago
When: Monday, Oct. 26, 7–10 p.m.
Cost: Free admission; donations for performers and production strongly encouraged
Details: CINEMA ULTRA event listing on Skylark’s official calendar
It is deliberately odd, decidedly adult, and a much better Monday anecdote than “I watched something on my couch.”
