Become a Keeper of Memories

Illustrative stock photograph of marigolds, candles, and a handmade skull at a Day of the Dead altar; not Día de los Muertos Xicágo.

One of Chicago’s most beautiful public traditions turns a neighborhood gathering into a shared space for remembering loved ones. Expect community-built ofrendas, music, art activities, and an illuminated projection on the museum exterior.

Día de los Muertos Xicágo
Where: Harrison Park and National Museum of Mexican Art, 1852 W. 19th St., Pilsen
When: Saturday, October 24, 3–8 p.m.
