Thursday’s Museum Date Comes With Wax Dips

Nature Night Out puts a little hands-on making into an after-hours museum visit.

When: Thursday, October 29, 6–8:30 p.m.
Cost: Listed general admission $30, including one alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage

Explore the exhibits and Butterfly Haven, dip a wax candle, or make recycled-material crafts with Trash Goblins. Live-animal encounters are scheduled for 7 and 8 p.m.; a costume contest follows at 7:30. Snacks and additional drinks are sold separately.
