Graph Ground is an old warehouse adapted into a cafe that serves coffee, breakfast, lunch, and house-made baked goods. Everything in the kitchen is made in house, which immediately separates it from the other Graph locations where pastries are sourced rather than produced.
The neighborhood is a good walking area with contemporary spaces to explore and none of the luxury sheen of One Nimman or the tourist density of the Old City. This is Chiang Mai at a more local register. Come for the coffee, stay for breakfast, walk the neighborhood after.
Graph started roasting in 2017, sharing a space with Gateway Coffee before finding its footing and expanding across Chiang Mai. The roasting philosophy skews Norwegian — light, acidic, complex, respecting the cherry rather than burning it into submission. If you prefer your coffee to taste like the fruit it came from rather than the roaster's preferences, Graph is going to make you very happy.
The baristas are well trained across every location and the espresso drinks are consistently good. The pastries are European in style and fine without being remarkable. The coffee is the reason to be here, and it delivers across the board regardless of which location you walk into.
Each outpost has its own personality, its own neighborhood, and its own reason to visit. The coffee is the constant. Everything else changes.
